Meet Rich McGinty, Owner
Rich “Richie-Mold” McGinty is not your typical mold inspection expert.
His background started with military service, hands-on field work, and real project experience before he built his career in mold assessment and indoor environmental inspection. That experience shaped the way he works today: with discipline, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to the people calling for help.
Before focusing on mold assessments, Rich worked through labor and project management roles connected to large-scale water damage and restoration projects. His work took him through states such as Florida, Texas, New York, and Massachusetts, where he saw firsthand how quickly moisture problems can affect a home when they are not properly inspected, documented, and handled.
Those experiences led him deeper into mold assessments, water mitigation, indoor air quality concerns, and environmental documentation. Rich pursued mold assessment training and certification in both Texas and New York, building his knowledge around proper inspection practices, mold-related conditions, remediation planning, and the importance of independent evaluation.
Today, as the owner of All Island Mold Inspectors, Rich brings military precision, field-tested experience, and homeowner-focused communication to every project.
